I used to love writing in here. Then, I stopped. I just spent the last hour reviewing my old entries. Life was so easy and fun back then. What happened?? HA!
I biked 17 miles today. I am exhausteddd

We're going to the Pet Rock Festival today. It is my third year going. I LOVE it. Last week we went to the MSPCA walk for animals. I just can't get enough! I'm a sucker for pet related things. Whats can I say, I love my doggie!
Today is the Walk For Animals! Thanks for helping me raise over $500 for the walk. We're going to Borderland State Park in Easton. Yipeeeee
Last weekend Bill and I rode our bikes down the Cape Cod Canal, all 14 miles or whatever it is! It was fun. Let's just say my butt was sore for a few days after that. I also tried yoga on Sunday. It was great. I'm probably going again tonight. It was pretty relaxing but still hard to do. She turned up the heat and shut the lights off.

MSPCA walk for animals

I am participating in a walk for animals next Sunday, September 4, through the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. I adopted my lab, Bruno, from a shelter based out of Indiana but I want to do whatever I can to help the cause. I have almost raised $500 for the walk and if anyone would like to help the cause and support me, feel free to read more!

I recently joined the MSPCA Walk for Animals. This Walk helps benefit over 250,000 animals that the MSPCA-Angell cares for each year.

I am asking you to help by supporting my fund-raising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of so many animals! It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause - you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution to the address listed below.

Any amount, great or small, makes a huge impact. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress.

Bruno just killed a bird outside. He brought it to the ground somehow and hurt it. He then continued to nibble at it until I had to step in. I am disgusted.

our night

I had a date last night. With Bill! We went to the North End. We ate at Giacomos because Bill's always wanted to go there. If you don't know the restaurant, it's the one that always has a huge line outside. Why, you ask? There are only 10 tables inside. Anyways. We had to wait one hour and 15 minutes to get inside and we got there 10 minutes after they opened!! Once we got inside, it was great. We got fresh bread, wine, beer, sauteed broccoli with garlic and oil.. YUM. I ordered fresh spinach and ricotta ravioli with fresh plum tomato sauce topped with tomatoes, red onions and CHEESE. It was delicious! Bill ordered linguine with mussels and calamari with the giacoma sauce which is lobster/red sauce. Not too badly priced at all. After that we went to Modern Pastry. A friend at work told me to go there instead of Mikes. Honestly, I probably would have rathered gone to Mikes. I got a chocolate dipped cannoli with ricotta and chocolate chips and we got some other weird thing that was gross. The cannoli was ok. I guess I just don't like them. I got one at Mikes this past winter that had chocolate mousse in it which was like 1000X better. I know it's not traditional but I don't give a shit!! We took our pastrys and ate by the ocean and then walked on a boardwalk around the harbor. It was a nice night.

I remember when I used to write in LJ all the time. Every day/every night. I do kind of miss it. It is always so fun to go back and read my old entries from years ago.. although it makes me sad a lot. I mean, don't get me wrong.. I still do lots of fun things. I just miss certain things about the way life used to be. Why can't I be reckless anymore? GRR. Things were so easy then. Now I'm 25, have a real life now I suppose and I have to be more mature. IT SUCKS.

i'm alive

We just got back from Lynn's camp in Unity, Maine. It was the annual memorial for her mom. It was a great time. It was Brenna, Bryan, Sarah, Bill and I.

We also went to visit Bill's grandmother in Florida August 6-12.

It's been a busy few months. Definetly done a lot. I am exhausted. Kinda glad summer is slowing down!!
